Description
The applicant is requesting an extension to a legal non-conforming use to permit the reconstruction of the front porch in order to enclose it. The subject property contains a legal non-conforming triplex and does not meet the current setbacks within Zoning By-law 150-85. The proposed enclosed porch will have the same front yard setback as the existing porch at 2.25 m (7.38 ft.) whereas the zoning by-law requires a minimum setback of 6.0 m (19.69 ft.).
