Description
The existing former Kaufman Childcare Centre and all siteworks are proposed to be demolished by separate demolition permit. Demolition is proposed for the Fall 2025 early Winter 2026 period. The new development proposes construction of a new approximately 880m2, one-storey, Region of Waterloo Paramedic Services Vehicle (PSV) and crew dispatch building (OBC Group D and F3 Uses). The facility is NOT accessible to the public, except for emergency phone located in the main entry vestibule. All parking is proposed new, to support the anticipated Use, which is permitted in all Zones. Water, Sanitary, and Storm services are proposed new within the bounds of the property, and have been designed to connect to existing service connections at the property line along the Street, in order to minimize disruption in Concession Road. A new Electrical Service is required, and communications are ongoing with Grand Bridge. Please refer to the attached Site Designs which further describe the proposed development, to City Standards.

Site plan review is a technical review by city staff of how a building sits on its lot: layout, parking, driveways, landscaping, grading and servicing. There is usually no public meeting.
