Description
The proposed work is three main areas: 1. Expansion of disinfection contact tank a. This is an outdoor open water tank. Currently exists with a 90m2 footprint, we are expanding to a 170m2 footprint to give the new chemical enough time to react with the water. b. The extension of the tank and structural requirements of this was the main point of discussion with the GRCA 2. New Sample Building (12m2 footprint) a. This is a single-story building to allow for plant operators a space to conduct their tests to check the quality of the water leaving the plant b. No windows, one door c. Discharge of sanitary drains are contained within the plant process 3. Tote Storage Canopy a. 38m2 concrete slab with canopy to place chemical totes on for back-up chemical supply b. No walls, doors, windows, etc.
What this kind of application is
Site plan review is a technical review by city staff of how a building sits on its lot: layout, parking, driveways, landscaping, grading and servicing. There is usually no public meeting.
